Pray for America: Armor of God
Our purpose in life is to both know and love God.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Not too long ago I came across a small book called Daily Prayers to Save America: The Mantle of Mary Project. The authors request us to say three specific prayers. I pray these three prayers daily, along with the Holy Rosary, the Angelus, and the 7 Prayers of Saint Bridget Devotion for 12 Years.
In the book, the authors write,
“Millions of Catholics and numerous other Christians share a profound certainty that something has gone terribly wrong with our country. An immense war between good and evil is being waged in the spiritual realm to determine the future of America, and we are all experiencing the dire repercussions of this conflict in our daily lives and relationships.”
Armor of God
The tempter approached and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread.” He said in reply, “It is written: One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:3–4
How do we know if our actions are right or wrong? What is the measuring stick we should use to make this distinction? It is God. The Bible is the measuring stick we should use to measure our actions against. It is the infallible, inerrant word of God. We read in 2 Timothy 3:15,
“Be eager to present yourself as acceptable to God, a workman who causes no disgrace, imparting the word of truth without deviation.”
We must humbly ask God and measure our actions against His will. Simply ask: “Father, we ask for your help for everything we need today.”
This is the first step in putting on the armor of God. The armor of God is a requirement in the battle against evil. For an interesting, and fictional, take on the armor of God, I recommend reading The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan. This was a religious allegory published in two parts in 1678 and 1684. There have also been movies about the book, including an animated film.
In Ephesians 6:10–17, Paul discusses a metaphor that God provides for us called the armor of God:
“Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground. So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
The armor of God is not a physical armor, but a spiritual one. It is the armor that we put on when we are in spiritual warfare. The armor of God helps us be “right with God” at the very core. It helps us focus on the right thing so that when we do things right, we do the right thing right. If we fail to put on the armor then it doesn’t matter how many things are done right because we will be doing the wrong thing right.
The Belt of Truth
Then the devil took him to the holy city, and made him stand on the parapet of the temple, and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written: He will command his angels concerning you, and with their hands they will support you, lest you dash your foot against a stone.”
Jesus answered him, “Again, it is written, You shall not put the Lord, your God, to the test.” — Matthew 4:5–7
Key Component: the Word of God (The Bible)
The first piece of armor that Paul talks about is the belt of truth or the loins girded in truth. The belt holds everything else together. In the same way, the truth holds everything else in our lives together. The belt of truth is our foundation. It is foundational for battle and supports our weapons allowing us to fight.
In order to put on the armor of God, we need to start with the truth. And the only way to know the truth is by reading and studying the Bible for ourselves. This means waking up each morning and reaching immediately for the word of God. It is the application of God’s Word in our life.
Satan is the father of lies. If you question God’s word then Satan wins. For example, Reverend (Rev.) David M. Felten of the Arizona United Methodist Church teaches to disregard biblical authority. He declared:
“The notions of biblical inerrancy and the need to be born again create all kinds of discord and conflict in society…[and] keeps the whole church trapped in a quagmire of outdated fantasies.” He surmised: “Not to put too fine a point on it, but original sin has got to go.”
Rev. Felten mocks creation and promotes the theory of evolution:
“The creation stories in the Bible are metaphors, not history…instead of the magical idea that human beings were once perfect and now because someone ate an apple, are damaged goods. How about simply acknowledging that Darwin was right? We were never perfect. We are evolving, emerging as a species and as individuals.”
According to Rev. Felten,
St. Paul and St. Augustine “made up a fanciful story about sin and the power of Jesus to redeem us…But science has given us a story that makes more sense for the 21st century.” Rev. Felten insisted: “We are evolving creatures striving to emerge from the primal ooze of our past to achieve a more advanced form of life.”
Rev. Felten concluded that human tendencies to sin are not because of original sin but because we are all evolving:
“We need to leave behind our magical thinking…I hope you’ve outgrown the image of a childish, petulant tyrant, punishing generations of subjects because some ancestors screwed up long ago…We are an evolving species, emerging over countless millennia into something more sophisticated than our reptilian ancestors.”
In his sermon on hell, Rev. Felten argued that hell is totally made-up and contradicts the nature of God, causing many believers to leave the church these days. People are agonizing between two choices: “One, [becoming] people who threaten eternal torture from a sadomasochistic God, or Two, [becoming] people who are too afraid to stand up and say no.” Felten believes that this fabricated notion of hell distorts “the very core of what following Jesus is about.”
Rev. Felten is in dangerous territory here. His preaching is heretical — the obstinate post-baptismal denial of some truth which must be believed with divine and catholic faith. He might be committing apostasy as well — the total repudiation of the Christian faith.
Rev. Felten, in my opinion, is borderline blasphemous — the only eternal and unforgivable sin. And he is not the only one. Many so-called Christians are following in his footsteps, leading people astray with their false teaching.
The Bible tells us that we need to be careful of false teachers. In Matthew 24: 23–24, Jesus says,
“If anyone says to you then, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. False messiahs and false prophets will arise, and they will perform signs and wonders so great as to deceive, if that were possible, even the elect.”
So be on guard against false teachers. Study the Bible for yourself so that you can know the truth. Don’t let anyone lead you astray with their lies. The best way to distinguish between the truth and false teaching is to use and understand scripture.
However, pray for anyone who has prescribed to these false teachings — and pray for Rev. Felten. These people are in most need of God’s mercy. This is what is meant in the conclusion of the Fatima Prayer:
“O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy.”
This is because they are spiritually blind and do not know God. They are unknowingly subject to demonic influence. Their souls are in jeopardy of eternal damnation. Therefore, they are “those in most need of Thy mercy.”
The Breastplate of Righteousness
Then the devil took him up to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in their magnificence, and he said to him, “All these I shall give to you, if you will prostrate yourself and worship me.” At this, Jesus said to him, “Get away, Satan! It is written:
The Lord, your God, shall you worship and him alone shall you serve.” — Matthew 4:8–10
Key Component: the Seven Holy Sacraments
The second piece of armor is the breastplate of righteousness. The breastplate protects our heart and our mind. In the same way, righteousness protects our heart and our mind from being corrupted by sin.
It’s a symbol of God’s righteousness and justice. It covers our hearts so that we can stand firm against the enemy’s attack. When we put on the breastplate of righteousness, we are declaring that we belong to God and that we are committed to living righteously.
The breastplate of righteousness also protects our minds. It helps us to think clearly and make wise decisions. It gives us the strength to resist temptation and make godly choices. When we put on the breastplate of righteousness, we are saying that we want to please God in everything we do.
We want to live according to His standards, not our own. We want to think and act in ways that are pleasing to Him. We must make the decision to do what is right and pleasing to God at all times, not what is most satisfying to ourselves. When we do this we can truly learn what is right.
Putting on the breastplate of righteousness is a call to all believers to live righteously. It’s a call to stand firm against temptation and make godly choices. It is our personal relationship with Jesus.
Putting on the breastplate of righteousness is consuming the Eucharist and putting on Jesus while not in a state of mortal sin. This also means believing the Eucharist is truly the body and blood of Jesus. It is not merely a symbol or a metaphor.
To put on the breastplate of righteousness means to embrace the seven holy sacraments, which are mystical channels of divine grace, instituted by Christ:
- Baptism. This is the sacrament of admission to the faith.
- Eucharist. During the mass, the priest consecrates bread and wine, the elements of the Eucharist, which are transubstantiated into the actual body and blood of Christ. Transubstantiation means the bread and wine in the Eucharist become Christ’s real presence — that is, his body and blood. This is radically different than consubstantiation.
- Confirmation. The third sacrament of initiation serves to “confirm” a baptized person in their faith. This can occur as early as age 7, but typically around age 13.
- Reconciliation or Confession. This is the means of obtaining pardon from God for sins for which the sinner is truly remorseful, and brings the sinner back into communion with God and the Church. We do not want to sin because it offends God, but confession provides a powerful motivator to stay away from sin. You feel pretty shameful when you have to admit your sins to another person.
- Anointing of the Sick. This sacrament is administered to give strength and comfort to the ill and to mystically unite their suffering with that of Christ during his Passion and death.
- Matrimony or Marriage. Is a sacrament that a baptized man and a baptized woman administer to each other through their marriage vows and lifelong partnership. Note that this is between a man — possesses one X and one Y chromosome — and a woman —possesses two X chromosomes. Sexuality is ordered to the conjugal love of a man and a woman.
- Ordination or Holy Orders. Ordination, or Holy Orders, is a sacrament that is available only to men who are being ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops.
The seven sacraments help us build a strong relationship with our Lord. Without a strong relationship with Jesus, people are at risk of listening to people like Gretta Vosper, who is a minister at the United Church of Canada. Vosper is also an atheist — yes… an atheist minister. Bibles are nowhere to be seen in her church and a large steel cross is hidden behind a cascade of rainbow streamers.
Vosper is a minister who does not believe in God. Tor her, God is a metaphor for goodness and a life lived with compassion and justice. Vosper substituted love and compassion for God and Jesus. She substituted community sharing time for prayer. In 2008 she even removed the Lord’s Prayer. I’m pretty confident she committed the sin of apostasy — and maybe even blasphemy.
Vosper has influenced her church in an evil way. “She’s way off the beaten track, that’s for sure,” laughs Jeanne Hamel, a 95-year-old who was raised in the United Church. “Those of us who are here are willing to follow her. A lot of people took the other road and to me, they chickened out.”
Vosper clearly does not belong to God and is blind to the truth. The truly sad part is that those in her church do not hear the words of God either.
“But because I speak the truth, you do not believe me. Can any of you charge me with sin? If I am telling the truth, why do you not believe me? Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not listen, because you do not belong to God.” — John 8:45–47
Shoes of Readiness and Peace
Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and am here; I did not come on my own, but he sent me.
Why do you not understand what I am saying? Because you cannot bear to hear my word. You belong to your father the devil and you willingly carry out your father’s desires.
He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks in character, because he is a liar and the father of lies.” — John 8:42–44
Key Component: Daily Attendance at Mass
The third piece of armor is the shoes of readiness and peace. This is stability in Jesus. It is the Gospel or good news of Jesus (his life, death, and resurrection). We must put on the shoes of readiness and peace so that Jesus will allow us to fight the powers of the dark world with boldness, confidence, perseverance, and peace.
Putting on the shoes of readiness and peace means possessing a clear understanding of the four “gospels” of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. For example, in Mark 7:24–30 we read about a Syrophoenician woman’s faith:
24 From there Jesus went to the region of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret.
25 In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet.
26 The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
27 “First let the children be fed, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs,” he said to her.
28 “Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”
30 She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.”
This woman had faith that Jesus could heal her daughter. She did not let her background or status as a Gentile stop her from coming to Jesus. She was persistent in her faith and was rewarded with healing for her daughter. All believers must have this type of boldness and confidence in their faith. We must be ready to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.
What this story does not say is what Rev. Brandan Robertson said, a gay minister at something called the Metanoia Church, where he called Jesus a “racist”. Robertson said about the Syrophoenician, “She speaks truth to power, she confronts Jesus.” Then Robertson says that, “Jesus repents of his racism and extends healing to this woman’s daughter”. You can listen to Rev. Robertson’s blasphemy here.
He then concludes, “I love this story because it’s a reminder that Jesus is human. He had prejudice and bias. And when confronted with it he was willing to do his work and this woman was willing to stand up and speak truth.”
Yes, Rev. Robertson said this woman was willing to stand up to Jesus, whom he called a racist, and speak truth to power against Jesus and his prejudice. I would not want to be Rev. Robertson on the day of judgment.
To make sure you are not Rev. Robertson on the day of judgment, I recommend attending mass and receiving the Eucharist daily. When you do this you are receiving the food that sustains eternal life. Imagine doing this every day.
I also recommend finding a Traditional Latin Mass (also known as Tridentine Mass or the Traditional Rite). Here mass is exclusively Ecclesiastical Latin.
I entered the Catholic Church as a Protestant in 2012, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized just how powerful it is to attend Traditional Latin Mass.
The Shield of Faith
There were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will introduce destructive heresies and even deny the Master who ransomed them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their licentious ways, and because of them the way of truth will be reviled. In their greed they will exploit you with fabrications, but from of old their condemnation has not been idle and their destruction does not sleep.— 2 Peter 2:1–3
Key Component: The three prayers from the Daily Prayers to Save America: The Mantle of Mary Project.
The three prayers are designed to be offered daily in atonement for the sins of the United States.
- Auxilium Christianorum Prayers. The Auxilium Christianorum, which means “Help of Christians,” is a spiritual warfare association founded by the exorcist, Rev. Chad Ripperger, Ph.D., FSSP.
- The Divine Mercy Chaplet. To honor the request of the Guardian Angel of the United States of America. I recommend reading The Warning.
- Mantle of Mary Prayer. The U.S. among all the nations on earth is distinguished for its total consecration to Immaculate Mary. Our first bishop, John Carroll, consecrated America to the Immaculate Virgin Mary in 1791, which was solemnly formalized and affirmed by Pope Pius IX in 1847. Consecration means to set apart for the service of God.
These three prayers help us build trust in Jesus and provide us a shield of faith, which is the next piece of armor. This is protection against the enemy’s fiery arrows. It is faith in Jesus Christ that allows us to quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. We must have faith in order to please God and Jesus is the focus of our faith.
If used correctly, it is a trustworthy piece of equipment, if dropped it is useless and our fate then rests with ourselves. Therefore, we must trust in Jesus alone as our shield. We cannot rely on our own abilities in this battle.
The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him, for anyone who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
This means that we must have faith in Jesus Christ alone for our salvation. We cannot rely on our own good works or efforts. We must trust that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
The shield of faith is trust in Jesus. It is needed to equip ourselves against blasphemy, such as the trash spewing from the mouth of Rev. Salvatore Sapienza, pastor at the Douglas United Church of Christ (Douglass UCC).

Rev. Sapienza published a book called Gay is A Gift.
A discussion of “Gay is a gift” on the Oprah Winfrey Show inspired this inspirational pocket guide on gay spirituality, which provides useful tools for uncovering your inner giftedness and discovering the true Spirit within. This concise handbook shares the spiritual wisdom of gay shamans throughout history, from the Native American “Two Spirits” to contemporaries like Ram Dass, but does so in a very clear and simple manner, giving readers step-by-step instructions for applying this wisdom to their own spiritual paths. Former Catholic monk and Seventy Times Seven author Salvatore Sapienza also shares his own spiritual journey with readers, helping them to unwrap their own unique gay gifts and to shine this special light on the world.
What’s funny is Rev. Sapienza was not on Oprah’s show, Being Gay is a Gift, which is another topic in itself — along with the fact that Oprah might have extra digits (polydactyly).
Just so we are clear… gay is not a gift. It’s actually a sin. Homosexual acts are acts of grave depravity and intrinsically disordered. Homosexual acts are contrary to the natural law.
Prayer is a gift — it’s God’s gift.
In the following sermon, Rev. Sapienza attempts to change what is meant in John 3:16. But before we examine his blasphemy, let’s first look at what is actually written in John 3:12–19. In doing so, we can examine the actual verse and what comes before and after.
John 3:12–19 states:
12 If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things.
13 No one has gone up to heaven except the son who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.
14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15 so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
18 Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
19 And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil.
Now let’s examine what Rev. Sapienza said:
At about three minutes in (3:20), he says:
“this misunderstanding over John 3:16 has led many Christians in America today to believe that one must accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior or they will be condemned to hell. That is not what Jesus is saying in today’s gospel.”
At 4:29:
“he’s [Jesus] not referring to himself as the son of God.”
Rev. Sapienza then discusses how Jesus is not the “Christ”.
At 4:42 he says:
“the Christ existed billions of years before Jesus of Nazareth was even born. When God birthed everything into existence and said let there be light.”
Then at 5:01 Rev. Sapienza stated:
“There was the Christ. The divine DNA was infused into all of creation. God so loved the world that God gave us of its varied nature its own DNA. Jesus was a man from Nazareth who lived more than 2,000 years ago and during his lifetime he had an awakening… a discovery… a realization that he and God were not two but one and because of that Jesus was able to fully manifest the Christ and he made it his mission after that realization to go out into the world and teach others so that they too could experience this oneness with God.”
At 6:36 Rev. Sapienza remarked:
“Jesus didn’t say he was the only one. In fact, if you read the Gospels he says just the opposite. He stood in front of crowds of people and said you are sons and daughters of God and he said you are the light of the world and he said all of the things that I have done you can do.”
Finally, at 7:04 Rev. Sapienza said:
“and quoting from Psalm 82, Jesus said you are all gods. That’s what Jesus said. Do you believe him because Jesus says in today’s Gospel all who believed have eternal life.”
First, this is not even close to what is said in Psalm 82. It actually reads:
1 A psalm of Asaph. God takes a stand in the divine council, gives judgment in the midst of the gods.
2 How long will you judge unjustly and favor the cause of the wicked?
3 Defend the lowly and fatherless; render justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Rescue the lowly and poor, deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
5 The gods neither know nor understand, wandering about in darkness, and all the world’s foundations shake.
6 I declare: “Gods though you be, offspring of the Most High all you,
7 Yet like any mortal you shall die; like any prince you shall fall.”
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth, for yours are all the nations.
Recall that Rev. Sapienza said, “and quoting from Psalm 82”… yet, he said nothing that was actually in Psalm 82. After reading it, we find that the pagan gods are seen as subordinate beings to God. And that God arises in the heavenly assembly to rebuke the unjust gods.
Rev. Sapienza then attempts to use his misquoting of scripture in Psalm 82:
“and quoting from Psalm 82, Jesus said you are all gods. That’s what Jesus said.
Jesus did not say that. He then uses what is said in John 3:16 to argue that if you don’t believe you are all gods then you don’t believe in Jesus.
“Do you believe him because Jesus says in today’s Gospel all who believed have eternal life.”
Outside of the atheist minister, Rev. Sapienza is one of the most obvious false teachers I have heard… and I am still trying to figure out what the purple thing is behind him. Divine DNA?
The Helmet of Salvation
Key Component: the 7 Prayers of Saint Bridget Devotion for 12 Years
I was truly blessed by God when He revealed this prayer to me. I accidentally picked up someone’s Roman Daily Missal, thinking it was mine. When I openened it, I realized it was not, but inside was blessing from God: the 7 Prayers of Saint Bridget Devotion for 12 Years. I did make sure to return the Missal.
What is the prayer?
Saint Bridget prayed for a long time to know how many blows Our Lord suffered during His terrible Passion. Rewarding her patience, one day He appeared to her and said:
“I received 5,475 blows upon My Body. If you wish to honor them in some way, recite fifteen Our Fathers and fifteen Hail Marys with the following Prayers, which I Myself shall teach you, for an entire year. When the year is finished, you will have honored each of My Wounds.”
He also gave her these prayers to be recited for twelve years. The 12 Year Prayers honor the 7 times Jesus spilled his precious blood for us as revealed by Our Lady to St.Bridget, and Approved by Pope Clement XII.
The Magnificent Promises of the 12 Years Prayers
1. The soul who prays them will suffer no Purgatory.
2. The soul who prays them will be accepted among the Martyrs as though he had spilled his blood for his faith.
3. The soul who prays them can choose three others whom Jesus will then keep in a state of grace sufficient to become holy.
4. No one in the four successive generations of the soul who prays them will be lost.
5. The soul who prays them will be made conscious of his death one month in advance.
Pachamama: Mother Earth
“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall not have other gods besides me.” — Exodus 20:2–3
Idolatry is worshiping a false god or idol. This could be in the form of statues, images, or even something as simple as a favorite possession. Idolatry is a sin because it is putting something or someone before God. It is an act of disobedience and rebellion against God.
In 2019, a South American demon known as Pachamama, was enthroned in the Vatican in front of the Pope. Pachamama is a demonic goddess of fertility, mother earth, and harvest.
Pachamama is an ancient Incan and South American goddess who was believed to preside over planting and harvesting. Pachamama is often portrayed as a pregnant woman or a woman with a child. She is also sometimes shown as an old woman.
The enthronement of Pachamama in the Vatican was a satanic ritual where the demon goddess was given a place of honor in the Church. This is an abomination and those who participated in this wicked act will have to answer to God for their blasphemy.
This is why we should pray continuously. Prayers like the 7 Prayers of Saint Bridget Devotion for 12 Years and the Angelus help us to understand the Theological Virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity.
Faith: by which we believe all the truths God has revealed — this is belief in Jesus as our savior. A simple act of faith is praying: “My God, I believe in You and all that Your Church teaches, because You have said it, and Your word is true.”
Hope: by which we firmly trust that God, Who is all-powerful and faithful to His promises, will, in His mercy, give us eternal happiness and the means to obtain it. This is trust in Jesus. An act of hope is praying: “My God I hope in You, for grace and for glory, because of Your promises, Your mercy and Your power.”
Charity: by which we love God above all things for His own sake, and our neighbor as ourselves for the love of God. Matthew 22:37–39 informs us, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.” We can make an act of charity by praying: “My God, because You are so good, I love You with all my heart, and for Your sake, I love my neighbor as myself.”
The Sword of the Spirit

Key Component: The Holy Rosary
The final piece of armor is the sword of The Spirit or the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God and is the living version of everything God wanted to say to mankind. We should use the sword under his power and direction.
The sword of The Spirit is our offensive weapon in the armor of God. We are to use it to defend ourselves and to attack the enemy’s lies. When we pray the rosary, while meditating on the mysteries of Jesus, we see Satan’s machinations and our own faults.
The rosary is a reminder that we are not perfect and that we need to rely on God’s strength — especially when we are tempted by Satan. The rosary helps us to see the importance of living a Christ-centered life, and it also gives us the strength to resist Satan’s temptations.
In How to Pray the Rosary, Fr. Donald Calloway writes: “It takes a sword to slay a dragon.” Fr. Calloway informs us that the rosary is a spiritual sword made by the Divine Craftsman. He writes, “To pray the rosary is to pray the Word of God.”

“The purpose of the Rosary is to help keep in memory certain principal events in the history of our salvation. There are twenty mysteries reflected upon in the Rosary, and these are divided into the five Joyful Mysteries (said on Monday and Saturday), the five Luminous Mysteries (said on Thursday), the five Sorrowful Mysteries (said on Tuesday and Friday), and the five Glorious Mysteries (said on Wednesday and Sunday). As an exception, the Joyful Mysteries may be said on Sundays during Advent and Christmas, while the Sorrowful Mysteries may be said on the Sundays of Lent.”
The Satanic Temple
“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:14
The rosary is essential for uncovering Satan’s plans. For example, The Satanic Temple (TST) is an organization that promotes atheism and the rejection of all religious belief. They believe that religion is a tool used by those in power to control and oppress people. The rosary is important for understanding the scheming behind this organization.
TST is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt church and created a “Satanic Abortion Ritual” in an attempt to exempt its members from state abortion restrictions. They have even attempted to form a narrative claiming they are the good guys — as mentioned in their film Hail Satan.
They claim to follow science and want to open protected abortion clinics. Satan has both disguised himself, but ironically, he’s made his stance pretty clear.
They promote egalitarianism, social justice, and the separation of church and state, supporting their mission:
“The mission of The Satanic Temple is to encourage benevolence and empathy among all people, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits.”
They perform blessings of same sex marriages, they have after school programs promoting science, and show their support for abortion… where temple members dressed in bondage fetish clothing, wearing baby masks and diapers while engaging in flagellation. They have also had members run for public office and attempted to obtain abortion drugs to carry out abortion rituals.
They use the baphomet statue, the goat-headed, angel-winged occult icon as their idol, they support LGBTQ pride month, they perform in drag and support drag queens reading to children, and perform “unbaptism” events during pride month. They are also a big supporter of the transgender movement.
7 Tenets of the Satanic Temple
TST has seven fundamental tenets. Let’s both examine them and expose their errors in logic.
#1. One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.
Sounds great right. Who doesn’t want to act with compassion and empathy? Who doesn’t want to act with reason?
Error in Logic: If reason is not defined, then the statement is illogical. It would be like saying:
“One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with _____.”
The blank could be anything, and it would still make sense. However, if reason is defined as “the capacity for logical thought, planning, and self-control,” then the statement is no longer logical.
This is because it is possible to act with compassion and empathy toward creatures without using reason. For example, a mother may instinctually feel compassion for her child, even if she does not stop to think about it logically.
#2. The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.
Who doesn’t want justice. Very noble of them.
Error in Logic: Presumption that laws and institutions are not needed for justice to prevail.
This statement is illogical because it presumes that the struggle for justice is more important than laws and institutions. However, this cannot be proven. It is possible that laws and institutions are necessary for justice to prevail.
For example, consider a law that prohibits discrimination. This law protects people from being treated unfairly based on their race, gender, etc. If this law did not exist, then it would be much harder to achieve justice for all people. Therefore, the statement that the struggle for justice should prevail over laws and institutions is illogical.
#3. One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.
Error in Logic: Self-contradition
This statement is self-contradictory. It states that one’s body is inviolable, meaning it cannot be violated or harmed. However, it also states that one’s body is subject to one’s own will alone. This means that if someone wanted to harm their own body or the body of another, they could do so. Therefore, the statement is self-contradictory and cannot be true.
#4. The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one’s own.
Error in Logic: False Dilemma
This statement is illogical because it assumes that the only way to respect the freedoms of others is to allow them to offend. However, this is not true. There are other ways to respect the freedoms of others without allowing them to offend. For example, one could respect the freedom of others by not willfully or unjustly encroaching upon their freedoms. Therefore, the statement is illogical.
The statement presents two options (respecting the freedom of others by allowing them to offend, or not respecting the freedom of others by not allowing them to offend) as if they are the only options, when in reality there are other options.
#5. Beliefs should conform to one’s best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one’s beliefs.
Error in Logic: Self-contradition
This statement is self-contradictory. It states that beliefs should conform to one’s best scientific understanding of the world. However, it also states that one should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one’s beliefs. This means that if someone’s beliefs do not conform to their best scientific understanding of the world, they should distort scientific facts to fit their beliefs. Therefore, the statement is self-contradictory and cannot be true.
The name for the logical fallacy in the previous statement is the self-contradiction fallacy. This is because the statement contains a contradiction within itself. It is logically impossible for beliefs to both conform to one’s best scientific understanding of the world and never be distorted to fit one’s beliefs.
#6. People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one’s best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.
Error in Logic: Non-sequitur
Tenet six makes a hidden assumption: people should not be held accountable for their mistakes.
This statement is logically fallacious because it conflates two different concepts: being fallible and being accountable. To be fallible means to be capable of making mistakes. However, being accountable means being responsible for one’s actions and being liable to face consequences for them. Therefore, it does not follow that because people are fallible, they should not be held accountable for their mistakes.
This is a non-sequitur fallacy. This is because the conclusion of the statement (that people should not be held accountable for their mistakes) does not follow logically from the premise (that people are fallible). There is no logical connection between the two concepts.
#7. Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.
Error in Logic: Appeal to Emotion
The error in logic behind this statement is that it assumes that everyone shares the same definition of what is considered “noble.” What one person may deem as an honorable act, another person may see as foolish or misguided.
Furthermore, the statement suggests that compassion, wisdom, and justice are always more important than following rules or laws — which may not always be the case. For example, if a law is in place that protects innocent people from harm, then following that law would take precedence over compassion (in this particular instance).
The name for the logical fallacy above is the “appeal to emotion.” This is because the statement tries to elicit an emotional response in order to convince the reader or listener that its point is valid. However, simply appealing to emotions does not make an argument logically sound. In order to be convincing, an argument must be based on logical reasoning and factual evidence.
Enemy Front
Satan is attacking us on multiple fronts. Assuming you have the armor of God, they are not hard to spot if you simply take the time to spot them. Let’s quickly look at just a couple of them.
Abortion
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the holy spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy.”-Luke 1:41–44
An amazing thing happened recently… Roe v. Wade was overturned. This does not mean abortion is banned, just that the power has returned to the states.
But why do we not value the lives of these infants — who are human and posses a soul? They are a gift from god. Why are we okay with killing millions of babies? Some even desire abortion on demand.
We should pray for every one of our over 60 million aborted babies, as well as for their mothers. We must now make sure resources are in place for the mothers without forgetting about the life inside them. We should also continue to pray for America and the sins of abortion.
I pray that everyone takes the time to watch the following video and witness the horrible reality of abortion — to see what actually happens during an abortion.
Moreover, those who are in places of power are actually advocating for more death. They are actually on the same side as The Satanic Temple.
This is a real billboard from The Satanic Temple promoting an abortion ritual. They claim that abortion saves lives because of pregnancy complications. They are trying to bait you in with a completely bogus statistic, only then to switch topics and tug at your heart.
Don’t be fooled though. In 2020 there were 862,320 abortions in the U.S. compared to 861 deaths due to pregnancy. While losing someone is always hard, there were 861,459 more deaths from abortion than pregnancy related deaths in 2020.
Do those in power see this? No. But let’s not forget to pray for them. Our fight is not with them, but with Satan and all the evil spirits.

The Fingerprint of Satan: Pride
“How you are fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the ground, you who laid low the nations! You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit on the mount of assembly on the heights of Zaphon. I will ascend to the tops of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High.’ But you are brought down to Sheol, to the depths of the Pit.” — Isaiah 14:12–15
In this verse, Lucifer is described as being prideful and arrogant. He thought he could be like God, but he was ultimately brought down to Sheol — the realm of the dead. This verse serves as a warning against pride, and it reminds us that only God is truly worthy of our worship and adoration.
Pride is the sin of thinking too highly of oneself. It is often characterized by a lack of humility, and it can lead to feelings of superiority and entitlement. Pride can cause people to act in arrogant and self-righteous ways, and it can also blind people to their own faults and shortcomings.
Pride is saying, “I don’t need God.” Pride is doing things “My Way”. Do you think it is a coincidence that Pride Month uses the word “Pride”?
The Fingerprint of God: Humility
“A man is never so proud as when striking an attitude of humility.” — C.S. Lewis
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:6–7
This verse from 1 Peter tells us to humble ourselves before God. It reminds us that it is only when we are humble that God can exalt us. And it reminds us that we should cast all our anxieties on God, because he cares for us. This verse is a good reminder for us to always keep humility at the forefront of our lives.
However, we should also strive to destroy any arguments or obstacles that stand in the way of our relationship with God. It also tells us that we should take every thought captive and make it obey Christ. This verse is a good reminder for us to always be on the lookout for anything that might hinder our relationship with God, and to make sure that our thoughts are always in line with what Christ would want us to think.
